Located along the Doke river in the Bihar province of India, a relatively unheralded region for tea production, the Doke Tea Estate was established in 1998 by the Lochan family. Their mission is to produce unique, handcrafted teas while employing practices that are “ecologically friendly to the air, the water, the soil, the animals, and most of all to the people who work and live on the land”.
