$40.00 CAD for 125gWonderfully smooth and sweet with earthy forest notes of pine and a remarkable mouth-coating finish of honey. This Lapsang Souchong is not smoked but rather dried over local pine tree branches before a light firing. Harvested early in the morning on Wuyi Mountain, with the tea trees surrounded by many different plants and flowers in a bio-diverse, pristine ecosystem where the air is pure and clean. The highest tree on this mountain is 2158m and are more than 200 years old. Lapsang Souchong is often seen as a smoky tea, however, in China it hardly ever is. Only two leaves and one bud are plucked by hand, before drying, withering, rolling, and full oxidation. All of these steps are finished manually instead of with machines.Select options -
