  1. Gene R Rankin

This blend was suggested to me by the shop when I complained about the harshness of stuff like PG Tips (which is what I usually am given when in the UK). I bought some … and liked it. Makes an interesting change from the usual Keemun Hao Ya A I usually drink.

Infusing light and golden, this second flush Darjeeling is smooth and sweet with subtle notes of honeydew melon. Thurbo is believed to derive its name from the word "Tombu" which means tent in the local language. Situated in the idyllic Mirik region, very close to the Nepalese border, the garden enjoys panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga and is laced with rivers and rivulets.

Enjoy the full colour and body of an Assam/Yunnan base with the unmistakable signature of Darjeeling. Tea with enough strength to combat the coldest of climates! An Alberta clipper (also known as a Canadian Clipper) is a fast moving low pressure area which generally affects the central provinces of Canada and parts of the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes regions of the United States, precipitating a sudden temperature drop and sharp winds. The term 'clipper' originates from the clipper sailing ships because of their quick speeds.
