Subtle vegetal notes lie beneath the bright, floral character of this second flush offering. Brews a light, amber-gold cup with a honey finish.
Margaret’s Hope gets its name from Lady Margaret, the daughter of the garden manager Mr. Cruikshank. Lady Margaret loved the garden and promised to return to it from England. Unfortunately she died of a tropical disease on the way back and her hope remained unfulfilled. Formerly known as Bara Ringtong, the garden was then rechristened as Margaret’s Hope.
