This unique, hand-picked Nepal red tea infuses light and sweet with bright floral notes of rose and honey.
Withered well, rolled and then allowed to oxidize until the “third aroma” is emitted and the leaf has turned a dark red. Once this is observed the oxidation is arrested in roasters and then dried.
Grown at 7600 ft in the high hills of Ilam, the unique geographic location and micro climate provide these teas rare and distinctive flavours. And with a workforce consisting of 99% women, the SiddhaDevi tea estate provides employment to over 200 women in the surrounding community.
