The last few weeks we have been ordering and refreshing our stock of teas from China, while starting to look ahead to our Ceylon and Indian shipments. You will note some price increases here and there, in some cases they were long overdue but overall costs have been going up in general.

We have started placing orders with our suppliers in China. We've also reached out to our suppliers in India and unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll be seeing any First Flush Darjeeling teas this year...though we do have a small stock of Jungpana Wonder available from last year. But we are hopeful for the Second Flush (summer) harvest and we will keep you updated as things proceed.

  • The Voyages of Admiral Grey

    $7.62 CAD
Many of you will know Admiral Grey and the associated teas that Tea Trader supplies. The original tea was launched in 1995 and Eight Bells, Taeping and Cedarberg Sunrise followed. At that time, we put a story behind this character and this was carried further by one of our earliest customers, Bob Newell. We talked with him over the years about a more complete story built around this character. We are now happy to announce the further chronicling of his adventures as told by Bob himself! Join Admiral John Grey as he sails the seven seas on the trail of a mysterious and dangerous conspiracy that may well threaten the world order. Can the Admiral succeed in defeating his enemies and return safely home? And will his beloved Julianna still be waiting for him? www.admiralgrey.com
