    Subtle vegetal notes lie beneath the bright, floral character of this second flush offering. Brews a light, amber-gold cup with a honey finish. Margaret's Hope gets its name from Lady Margaret, the daughter of the garden manager Mr. Cruikshank. Lady Margaret loved the garden and promised to return to it from England. Unfortunately she died of a tropical disease on the way back and her hope remained unfulfilled. Formerly known as Bara Ringtong, the garden was then rechristened as Margaret's Hope.

    This tea stood out in quality from the sample. The large leaf has abundant golden tip that yields an amber brew with hints of warm, sweet spices and malt. The estate was established in 1856 by J. E. Todd and is located near to Jorhat. Tea is grown on 840 hectares of land on the banks of the river of the same name. OUT OF STOCK - Awaiting this year's second flush... late summer, August/September.
