    Full and assertive, the deep amber infusion is sweet and tart with rich notes of cooked sugar and baked fruit (think rhubarb and apple). The Nahorhabi Estate is named after the beautiful ‘Nahor’ tree. One side of the garden is covered by a dense forest, and in a commitment to protecting the environment and uplifting ecological balance of the area, regular plantation of trees in the fallow areas of the garden is carried out.

Located in the Himalayan region of mid Ilam in the eastern part of Nepal at an altitude of 4000 ft above sea level, the Maloom tea estate is the oldest in Nepal. These high altitudes promote slow growth in the tea bushes resulting in more intricate and refined flavors. There is also an emphasis on creating sustainability at all levels...for farmers, producers, community, industry and country.

    This Japanese black tea is quite light but complex with earthy, floral notes of lightly-fried bread dough, hints of lemon and a lingering milky-sweet finish. From the Kagoshima prefecture on the southern tip of Kyushu island. Benifuuki is a hybrid of the Benihomare (assamica) and MakuraCd86 (sinensis) varietals. Loosely translates as “red riches and honors”.
