Situated in the Mangaldai district of Assam and bordered by the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, Orangajuli derives its name from the words Oranga and Juri which in local dialect means "people living by a small stream".
Brews a deep amber cup with earthy, sweet notes of brown sugar and dates. Round and slightly sweet with a mild astringency; brings to mind a Golden Yunnan crossed with Ceylon and Assam tea.
